Sitting up!

My big girl is sitting up all by herself! She's been acting like she wanted to for awhile, and she has been pretty good at the tripod sit. But, today was the first time she really sat up for am extended period of time. We were playing in our bonus room, where we keep most of June Anne's toys, and I decided to try to sit her up. When I took my hands away, she sat there for 5 minutes or so! Just playing away! She looks so grown!

Sick Baby?

June Anne has been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. I took her to the doctor yesterday, and it turns out she has pink eye and a double ear infection. Poor baby girl! (Side note: I'm sure all the parents at daycare are going to love me and my sweet girl if it spreads!). Needless to say, I stayed home today to be with her. She seems to be feeling better. She's not eating great, which tells me that her ears may still be bothering her a little. Praying she gets better quickly. Other than the eating, you'd never know she was sick!

We are enjoying a weekend visiting friends and family in St. Simons while Jason is chaperoning the youth ski trip!

Happy 5 Months!!!

I can't believe my girl is 5 months old! This is the best shot I could get today as we are battling bronchiolitis and a double ear infection. Poor baby! But, she's still smiling!

Mommy Guilt

I LOVE this woman's blog. Seriously. I had to share this post because I think so many women struggle with this. I'm so thankful for someone to voice exactly how I feel every single day - both the days I go to work, and the days I stay home. Brought tears to my eyes. If you are a mommy that has ever wrestled with the decision of going back to work or staying home full-time, you will appreciate this.
